I love this CD, Grace has written one of the best 'pop rock' albums of 2015! She has tempered her powerhouse vocals with soulful and sexy overtones that invite you into her 'Midnight' soiree. The listener surrenders willingly to her confidence and finds oneself pressing 'replay' over and over again. Grace's pop sensibilities are up there with the best of them and her adventurous nature comes out in tracks such as the opening 'Hot to the Touch' and 'Alive Tonight'. I would rate the album a 5 out of 5 if not for the treatment of Grace's vocals by the records mixer and producer, Eric Valentine, who has managed to crunch, compress and use every concievable filter to diminish Potter's instrument as evidenced in 'Your Girl', which should have Potter's voice sounding like the soulfull sisters of Motown but falls short. As the record progresses, the listener experiences 'ear fatigue' due to Valentines overall sonic treatment, which has the album boosted in the mid range. I can't waith for Grace to tour these songs, so that I can hear them as they were intended.
